Are the lights safe?
All our illuminated letters and props are powered by a 13 amp plug socket (a standard household plug!) The lights themselves are 4 ft tall (124 cm), low voltage (24 volt) LED bulbs and each letter is wired individually using 2 metre power cables and all connect onto a 5 metre extension cable for an easy 1-plug system. Longer lengths can be available.
Are they PAT tested?
Can we use the illuminated letters outside?
Ideally, we letters prefer to be inside where it is dry! However, depending on the weather during your event, and if an extension cable can safely be used, your letters can be positioned to greet your guests at the entrance, or for a nice display during a drinks reception. Please let us know if that is what you plan to use them for when booking so we can come prepared with the correct cables and extensions for your hire. The letters are for outdoor fair weather use only and if conditions are damp, wet or windy on the day of set up it is at our discretion whether conditions are deemed suitable.

Are the lights free standing?
Yes, our lights are free-standing and are perfectly safe on hard floors, such as marble, tiles or wood. As with any free standing object, with force or disturbance the letters could fall. All our letters and numbers have a discreet black extended base to help minimise any risk of them falling side-ways or front to back. In some cases and some venues where the surface is plush carpet or grass, it may be best to lean our lights against a wall for safety.
What does the hire charge include?
Our competitive hire charges include unlimited useage for your wedding or event, extension leads and for some, free delivery!
How long can we hire items for?
Standard hire periods are 1-4 days eg. Friday/Saturday to Sunday/Monday. Other periods are available, just get in touch with us.
Is it cheaper to hire for just one day?
Although you are having them for a shorter period, you are still using them for the same length time during your special event as someone who may require them for a 3 day hire. That is why we are very flexible on our hire days, whether it be for 1 or 3 days!

What are your delivery charges?
Outer London Boroughs from £35 delivery & collection
Central London from £70 delivery & collection
All other locations £1.20 per mile delivery & collection
Do you deliver in Central London?
Yes we do! Central London delivery starts from £70 and is dependent upon delivery and collection days and times.
Will you deliver outside of London?
If you are happy to pay for the delivery, we can deliver anywhere. Just email and ask!
Who will be delivering them?
We prefer to deliver them ourselves! That way we, and you, can be assured that by the time we leave them in your hands and have signed the delivery form the items are in tip top condition and all working great so there will be no hiccups on the big day.
How do we pay?
Once an order is placed, we only require 25% of the hire charge. Then, 28 days before your hire date, we invoice you for the remaining balance, any delivery charges along with £100 (In some cases this will be up to £200 depending upon the number of items being hired) refundable damages deposit is required.
What is a damages deposit?
This £100- £300 (dependent upon number of items hired) covers damage that may occur to our items during your hire period. This deposit will be given back to you upon collection and workshop testing via the method it was paid. We believe that items should be returned to us in the same condition as they were hired to you as this may jeopardise someone else’s special occasion. If an item cannot be repaired for the deposit amount taken and needs more detailed repair or replacement, an additional charge may incur. Replacement letters start at £600.
Upon delivery, you will be asked to check the items with us and sign a delivery acceptance form. This confirms payment has been made and the condition of which you received your hired items. Upon collection, you will be asked to check the items once again and sign off on the hire.
I need to cancel my items.
Though we understand that sometimes cancelling an order cannot be avoided, we do not accept voice-mails or text messages to do this. Only written confirmation by email or letter will be accepted.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation notice given within 3 months of expected hire date will lose your 25% deposit. Notice given within 28 days of nominated hire day will loose entire quoted balance and will be non-refundable.
